The Vidhyadeep Institute of Science, a prominent part of Vidhyadeep University, successfully hosted a Matki Decoration and Drawing Competition on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The event began promptly at 12:00 PM and was filled with enthusiasm, creativity, and cultural vibrancy. Designed as a platform for students to express their imagination and artistic skills, the competition brought together 25 enthusiastic participants, each eager to showcase their talent in unique and colorful ways. The event was meticulously planned and executed under the dedicated coordination of Mr. Harshil Vasoya and Ms. Shrishti Tiwari, with the valuable support of co-coordinator Mr. Vivek Goswami. Their collaborative efforts ensured that the competition not only proceeded smoothly but also reflected an environment of encouragement, teamwork, and celebration of creativity. The institute has always aimed to provide opportunities beyond academics, and this competition was a perfect example of blending cultural tradition with artistic innovation. The success of the program was made possible with the unwavering guidance and support of our respected I/C Principal, Dr. Siddhi Shah, whose constant encouragement motivates students and faculty alike. Additionally, the Academic Coordinator, Dr. Pooja Desai, played a vital role in shaping the event through her thoughtful suggestions and inspiration. Their leadership and vision significantly contributed to the event’s grand outcome, inspiring both the organizing team and the student participants to give their best. One of the highlights of the competition was the evaluation process, which was carried out with great care and fairness by two esteemed judges. Mrs. Bhagyashree Patel from the BBA department and Mrs. Priti Dhimmar from the BCA department graciously agreed to serve as judges for the competition. Their keen observation, artistic sense, and balanced judgment ensured that every participant’s creativity was acknowledged and appreciated. The judges not only evaluated the students’ work but also offered words of encouragement that motivated the participants to continue nurturing their talents. Throughout the event, the atmosphere was vibrant and filled with joy. Students enthusiastically took part in decorating matkis and creating drawings, each artwork reflecting individual imagination, cultural values, and aesthetic sensibility. The designs ranged from traditional motifs inspired by Indian heritage to modern, innovative patterns, highlighting the diversity of thought among the young artists.
